Purpose: Automatically locks the vehicle as soon as you leave it with the key, provided that the KESSY system (keyless entry, locking, and starting system) is installed. Unfortunately, the function that folds the exterior mirrors is not controlled and may need to be performed manually using the key if necessary.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click “Select,” then click “05 – Access Authorization/Startup.”
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20103“.
5 – Click “Encoding – 07,” then click “Long Coding Helper.”
6 – Select byte “2“
. Then set bit “5” (module 5Q0) OR Bit “4” (Module 3Q0) “Locking for Door Slamming active”
Line 2:
3 – Click “Select,” then click “05 – Access Authorization/Startup“.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20103“.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – At the very top of this page, there is a drop-down menu.
From this drop-down menu, select “internal_passive_entry_exit_byte1-passive_exit_door_slam_lock“
7 – On the same page, there’s a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
Select“Active” and confirm.
