Purpose: Allows the sunroof to open fully when using the “Comfort Open” function with the remote control.
Procedure:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition switched off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostic port.
2 – Turn on the ignition and launch the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click “ Select,” then click“09 – Central Elect.”
4 – Click “Encoding 07,”then click “Long Coding Helper.”
5 – Select Byte 3:
Bit 0: Check “Comfort Opening for Sliding Sunroof active”
Bit 1: Check “Comfort Closing for Sliding Sunroof active”
Bit 2: Uncheck “Comfort Opening Type for Sunroof (0 = open/ 1 = lift)”
Bit 5: Check “Comfort Operation via Remote Control active”
Line 2:
3 – Click on ” Select”, then click on “Select”.4F – Power Plant II ” .
4 – Click “Encoding 07,”then click “Long Coding Helper.”
5 – Select Byte 1:
Bit 0: Uncheck “Comfort function Sliding Roof: Tilted”
