Purpose: Enables the “recirculation” setting memory. If you have enabled it, it will remain active the next time the vehicle is started. Please note that the Touareg has an automatic recirculation function via the MMI system; when this is enabled, the recirculation indicator light does not illuminate while the function is active.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select” then click on“08 – Climatronic” /“08 – Auto HVAC”.
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – At the very top of this page, there is a drop-down menu.
From this drop-down menu, select “IDE01476 – Store air recirculation setting with terminal 15 off“
6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu located toward the bottom
of the page.
From this menu, select “Storing” or “Save,” then confirm.
