Purpose: Allows you to disable the low beams that are always on; they are activated only when set to “Auto,” and during the day, only the parking lights are on. (Disable Scandinavian Mode)
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select the “0” module from the drop-down list and click on “Long Coding Helper”:
2008 à 2011:
Uncheck Byte 0 Bit 3
From 2011:
Byte 11 Bit 2: Uncheck “Permanent Running Light (via Low Beam) active”.
