Purpose: Enables vehicle lock/unlock confirmation with beeps (with alarm)
Procedure:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition switched off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then connect the other end to your vehicle’s diagnostic port.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select the “0” module and click on “Long Coding Helper”:
6 – Select Byte 5:
Bit 1: Check “Locking Confirmation via Horn Enabled”
Bit 4: Check “Unlocking Confirmation via Horn active”
