Purpose: Allows you to adjust the power steering stiffness for a smoother or stiffer, sportier steering feel.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click “Select,” then click “44 – Power Steering” / “44-steering assist.”
4 – Click “Adaptation – 10“
5 – Select Channel 1, then enter a value between 1 and 15 based on your preferred hardness level
Or Line 2: (If Channel 1 is unavailable):
3 – Click “Select,” then click “44 – Power Steering” / “44-steering assist.”
4 – Click on “Coding – 07“
5 – Choose :
- xxx1x for smooth steering
- xxx2x for a sporty ride
- xxx3x for a stiff steering feel
- xxx4x for a firmer steering feel
- xxx5x for very stiff steering
