Purpose: to set confirmation of door locking/unlocking with beep (alarm) or horn.
Warning!! There are 5 lines of code to write here—actually, 6. (After programming, if it doesn’t work, enable the option on your screen in CAR – Open/Close Settings – check “Audible Confirmation”)
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – At the very top of this page, there is a drop-down menu.
From this drop-down menu, select “Acknowledgement signals—Unlock acoustic feedback.”
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu located toward the bottom
of the page.
From this menu, select “Yes” and then confirm.
Line 2:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – At the very top of this page, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, select “Acknowledgement signals—Lock Akustische Rückmeldung.”
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu located toward the bottom
of the page.
From this menu, select “Yes” and then confirm.
Line 3:

On this, choose“normal” or“kurz” (for a short signal), then confirm.
!!! If your vehicle is not equipped with an alarm, here is the code you need to change to activate the horn :
