Purpose: Allows you to adjust the activation time for the tailgate when you hold down the center button on the key fob and then release it to open the trunk. The default activation time/delay for opening/closing the trunk is 0.8 seconds (800 ms). You can increase the time it takes to open the trunk with the remote key. For example, if you accidentally open the trunk (because the key is in your pocket) when you didn’t intend to, you’ll have more time.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click “Select,” then click “46 – Central Conv“.
4 – Click “Adaptation – 10.”
5 – At the very top of this page, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, select “Temps d’ouverture du coffre arrière avec télécommande” or“Actuation Time for opening rear lid with remote control.”
6 – Select the value in ms
Default Value: 800 (ms)
Range: 0 to 5,000 (ms)
