List of Leuchte Passat B8 Channels with VCDS / OBDeleven
The Leuchte channels allow you to configure the various lighting outputs of the ” 09 – Cent. Elect.” (Body Control Module) on the Volkswagen Passat B8.
With VCDS, each Leuchte channel can have several parameters, including:
- Light Function A-H: function assigned to the output
- Dimmwert AB-CD: Power/Current Value
- Dimming Direction: Direction of Change
- DTC-DFCC Fault Location (Middle Byte ): Fault Monitoring
- Lamp Fault Bit Position: Lamp Monitoring
Note: Channel assignments may vary depending on the model year, BCM, installed headlights and taillights, and vehicle equipment. This list corresponds to the architecture commonly found on the Passat (B8) and should not be directly applied to other VAG models.
Function configuration may vary depending on the type of LED taillights (Basis / High), the model year, and the vehicle’s equipment. Always verify the functions available in ECU 09 before making any modifications.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – Search for the desired Leuchte channel.
