
Purpose: Allows you to adjust the ACC distance setting from the factory setting so that it can be adjusted in 1 km/h increments by pressing the switch.
By default, the PLUS and MINUS buttons on the adaptive cruise control adjust your speed in 10 km/h increments. You can change the setting to 1-km/h increments by briefly pressing the button. To use the previous 10-km/h speed increments, press and hold the buttons.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click “Select,” then click “ 13 – Regular Distribution “.
4 – Click “Security Access – 16,” then enter the code “14117 or 2010 3 ”
5 – Click on “Coding – 07”
6 – Click “ Long Coding Helper.”
7 – Select Byte 02

Some cruise control modules may use different coding or even have this setting configured via adaptation instead of coding. Make sure the option you are about to change is correctly labeled.
