Purpose: to activate Coming / Leaving Home without the light sensor.
Warning! There are 5 lines of coding to do here.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination-Coming Home Verbaustatus”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, (2 choices) :
- Select the“manual” value: You will have to make a headlight flash before exiting “pulled towards you”.
- Select the“automatic” value: the headlamps will come on every time you open the driver’s door “See (5)”.
Then validate.
Line 2:

4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination-Menuesteuerung Coming Home Werkseinstellungz”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu, but towards the bottom
of the page.
On this, select the“active” value: To display the CH/LH settings in the car radio.
Then confirm.
Line 3:

4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination-Menueeinstellung Cominghome 10 s”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, enter the desired value for a duration between“0” and“60” – The value is expressed in seconds.
Then confirm.
Line 4:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination-Coming Home Leuchten Low beam/fog light”.
7 – On this same page, there’s a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this, set the value to“Low beam” for low-beam headlamps and“Fog Light” for fog lamps.
Line 5:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination-Coming-home Einschaltereignis Driver door/ Ignition Key”.

On this menu, (2 choices) :
- Select the“driver door” value to enable CH/LH when the driver door is opened.
- Select“Ignition key” to enable CH/LH on key removal.
