Purpose: Automatically folds mirrors when vehicle is locked, with menu added on RNS 850.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “52 – Passenger Door”. 1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Select Byte 04:
Bit 6: Tick “Comfort Mirror Folding active”.
Line 2:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “42 – Driver’s door”.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Select Byte 04:
Bit 6: Tick “Comfort Mirror Folding active”.
Line 3:
3 – Click on ” Select” then click on “46 – Central Conv.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Choose Byte 07 :
Bit 7: Check “Folding Mirrors installed”.
