Purpose: to activate stationary heating and its management on the RNS 850.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on ” Select”, then click on ” Select ” and run the VCDS program.08 – Auto HVAC” .
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Select Byte 01:
Bit 4: Tick “Auxiliary Heating active”.
To continue, you must first activate the RNS-850’s hidden menu (Green Menu).

Press CAR + SETUP for 6 sec to bring up the hidden menu.
