Purpose: activates the Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) (for vehicles equipped with Pre-Sense).
The Traffic Jam Assistant can take over steering at speeds of up to 65 km/h on well-maintained roads in the event of traffic jams. The system uses radar and ultrasonic sensors as well as the front camera to guide the vehicle by gently adjusting the steering and following the traffic ahead within the system’s limits. The traffic jam assistant uses road markings and other vehicles on the road to orientate itself.

Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
