Purpose: Allows the sunroof to be opened completely when opening with the remote control. (5N and 5N2)
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (for Facelift without Comfort Module, see line 2 directly):
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “46 – Comfort Module” . Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program. Procedure: 1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
4 – Click on “Coding 07”, then click on“Long Coding Helper”.
5 – Select Byte 8 :
Bit 2: Check “Comfort Opening Sunroof via Remote Control active ”
Bit 6: Uncheck “Comfort Opening Type for Sunroof (0 = open/ 1 = lift) ”.
Line 2:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “Select”.4F- Central Elect. II ” .
4 – Click on “Coding 07”, then click on“Long Coding Helper”.
5 – Select Byte 1:
Bit 0: Uncheck “Comfort function Sliding Roof: Tilted”.
