Tiguan 2 (AD1) – Battery charge level on ODB

Purpose: Displays the battery charge level on the ODB.


Handling procedure :

1 – Switch off the ignition

2 – Press the daily mileage reset button
This will first reset the daily mileage (keep pressed), then display Time for clock setting (keep pressed) and finally display battery.

3 – Release the button and the battery level will be displayed for a few seconds before returning to the main
display.


Warning!!! This is just the procedure for displaying it. If the procedure is followed even after several attempts, but the display still doesn’t appear, you’ll need to activate it. See just below.


Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.

2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.

Line 1:

3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“17 – Instruments”.

4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20103”.

5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“No-voltage display”.

7 – On this same page is a second drop-down menu, but towards the bottom
of the page.
On this, choose“tdb” or“display” then validate.
