T-Roc (A1) – Valves / flaps exhaust always open

VAG Coding VCDS ODBeleven VW T-Roc A1

Purpose: to deactivate exhaust valves/flaps in the always open position.

(For T-Roc R only)

(This coding makes the car think there are no valves installed. Before deactivating them, put the car in “Race” mode or DSG “S” mode and check that the valves are open).

If this doesn’t work, you can always unplug the valves, remove their connectors (when they’re open), and then remove them again.

If you’ve changed your exhaust system for one without flaps or with flaps via a system other than the original one, you’ll need to deactivate the flaps, otherwise you’ll get a flap hs engine fault (without warning light).

Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.

2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.

Line 1:

3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“01 – Motor”.

4 – Click on“Coding – 07” then click on“Long Coding Helper” .

5 – Select byte“9
Then uncheck Bit“2”:“Exhaust Flaps installed”.
