Purpose : to select the type of door opening/closing when the remote control is pressed.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “Select”. 35 – Verr. Centr. “or” 17 – Instruments
4 – Click on “Coding- 07”.
Modify the values according to your choice :
Coding (MY 1998 > MY 2000)
00004 = Central locking
00064 = Central locking (theft protection, Switzerland)
00256 = Central locking (theft protection)
01024 = Central locking (theft protection/remote control, Switzerland)
04096 = Central locking (theft protection/remote control)
16384 = Central locking (remote control)
