Purpose : to set door lock confirmation when using the remote control.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (AFTER the end of 2009):
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Coding – 07”.
5 – Select the “0” module and click on “Long Coding Helper”:
6 – Select Byte 5:
Bit 1: Check “Locking Confirmation via Horn active”.
Line 2:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – Select Channel 10 – (Unlock sound):
Set value to 1
7 – Select Channel 11 – (Tone on lock):
Set value to 1
Line 1 (BEFORE the end of 2009)
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “46 – Module Confort”.
4– Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Select Channel 10
Set value to 0 (no confirmation)
Set value to 1 (confirmation with flashing lights)
Set value to 2 (confirmation with beep/horn)
Set value to 3 (confirmation with flashing lights + beep/horn)
Line 2 (If the adaptation channel is not activated) :
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“46 – Comfort module”.
4 – Click on“Coding – 07” then on “Long Coding Helper”.
Byte 11:
Bit 2: Check “Locking Confirmation (Blink) via Remote Control” (confirmation with flashing lights)
Bit 3: Tick “Locking Confirmation (Horn) via Remote Control” (confirmation with Beep/Horn)
