Purpose: Enables Apple CarPlay Wireless and Google Android Auto Wireless to be activated without the need for a USB cable.
Vehicle must have an active USB wired CarPlay connection (from SW 1803, SFD: yes)
Warning! There are 8 lines of coding to do here.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket or OBDeleven.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program. or OBDeleven.
Line 1 (Wifi):
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on “Select”.5F – Information Electr.” .
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Choose Channel : “function_configuration_connectivity – wifi_client_mode_5GHz”.
Set value to “ON
Line 2 (Wifi):
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on “Select”.5F – Information Electr.” .
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Choose Channel : “function_configuration_connectivity – wifi_client_mode_2_GHz”.
Set value to “ON
Line 3 (Wifi):
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on “Select”.5F – Information Electr.” .
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Select Channel : “function_configuration_connectivity – WIFI_Hotspot_5GHz”.

Line 4 (Wifi):

Line 5 (Apple Carplay wireless):

Line 6 (Android Auto wireless):

5 – Choose Channel : “function_configuration_connectivity – google_android_auto”.
Set value to “ON
Line 7 (App Connect):
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on “Select”.5F – Information Electr.” .
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Select Channel : “function_configuration_connectivity – app_connect_over_wifi”.
Set value to “ON
Line 8 (Option):

Restart MIB3, reset MIB3 (hold down volume control for at least 10-15 seconds)
Don’t plug your Apple device into the USB port!
Make sure the WIFI access point is enabled in the MIB3 settings.
On your iPhone under Settings -> Wi-Fi, your car should appear with ***_5GHZ.
Pair your Apple device with Bluetooth, it should now ask if you want to enable CarPlay.
If not, delete the pairing, connect to the car’s Wi-Fi first from the Apple device, then try pairing again via Bluetooth.
