Purpose: Allows you to set the seat heating memory, 10 minutes or always on after the last use. When you switch the ignition back on, the seat will have returned to the level at which you left it.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket or OBDeleven.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program. or OBDeleven.
Line 1 (Driver’s seat):
3 – Click on“Select” then click on “08 – Climatronic”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, select the channel“Seat heating level driver side, saving condition”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu, at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, choose“not_active” or“10_minutes_activ” (activates 10 minutes after last use) or“active” (last use will be saved), then confirm.
Line 2 (Passenger seat):
3 – Click on“Select” then click on “08 – Climatronic”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, select the channel“Seat heating level passenger side, saving condition”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu, at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, choose“not_active” or“10_minutes_activ” (activates 10 minutes after last use) or“active” (last use will be saved), then confirm.
