Purpose: to change the color of the engine speed display (rpm) in the Golf R view of the Active Info Display / Virtual Cockpit (AID).

Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket or OBDeleven.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program. or OBDeleven.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17- Instruments”.
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu. In this drop-down menu, select the “tachometer_colour” channel.
6 – Three color options “Rot” / “Grün” / “Blau” at 0, change the value according to the desired color.
Examples:
Violet: Rot 127 / Grün 0 / Blau 255
Blue: Rot 0 / Grün 0 / Blau 255
