Golf 8 (5H) – Automatic locking when driving away

Purpose: to activate the locking and unlocking of the central locking system with the KESSY keyless entry system, when moving away from the vehicle.

Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostic socket or OBDeleven box.

2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program or the OBDeleven application.

Line 1:

3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.

4 – Unlock SFD protection.

5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Automatische_Funktionen – Automatisches_Verriegeln_aktiv“.

7 – On the same page, there’s a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
Select“Active” and confirm.

Line 2:

3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.

4 – Unlock SFD protection.

5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“DevCod_IDGeber_Suche – Unterdrueckung_zyklischer _Suchen_bei_entriegeltem_Fahrzeug_aktiv“.

Only possible with software version 0174 or higher.
Not possible with a lower version.
A “High” BCM is also required!
Under ECU identification.
BCM37w_H = OK
BCM37w_M1 = OK
BCM37_M Hardware L = No OK
Does not work if you move away from the tailgate.
The control unit with address B7 is also required!
