Purpose: to switch between normal daytime running lights and US daytime running lights in the “0” light switch position. For position and low-beam headlamps, you need to decide on a coding version. (save your original coding for a return to the original, does not work on all models)
Watch out! There are 23 lines of coding to be seen here, 25.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – Modify channels :
Channel “daytime running light / daytime running light activation by BAP or operating sequence possible” set value to “active”.
Channel “light 0 BLK VL B36 light function A 0” set value to “active 100%”
Channel “light 0 BLK VL B36 -Dimming value AB 0” set percentage value as desired
Channel “light 0 BLK VL B36 light function C 0” set value to “daytime running lights”

Channel “Luminaire 0 BLK VL B36-Dimming Direction CD 0” Set value to “minimize”.
