Information :
Start and stop deactivation is not compatible with Golf 7 GTE models, and can only be deactivated with engine reprogramming.
It is no longer possible to deactivate it with a Golf 7.5 Facelift with a Gateway after 2019.
For Golf 7R, if you have the ECU: Acc / Start Auth. (address 05, HW: 5Q0-959-435). This controller has a single adaptation channel whose sole function is to deactivate Stop/Start. The adaptation channel descriptor is“Desactivation of start-stop function” and the default setting is“not active”. It may be possible to change this setting to active (untested) if available.
