Purpose: to manage the number of manual activations before the headlamp washer is activated on Xenon / to set the delay time before the headlamp washer comes out / the duration of the headlamp washer jet on Xenon.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (number of activations before headlamp washer):
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Windshield wiper-Anzahl Betaetigungen Frontwaschanlage pro SRA Aktivierung”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu, at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, choose a value of your choice (default value“5”) then validate.
Other settings for headlamp washer in drop-down menu :
- “Windshield wiper – SRA verzoegerungszeit” (delay time before the windshield wiper comes out)
- “Windshield wiper – SRA waschzeit” (headlamp washer duration, default value 700ms)
