Purpose: Deactivates the “Check SAFELOCK! Owner’s manual! Owner’s manual!” warning message when the ignition is switched off.
Please note that the doors are always locked from the inside!
Safelock is an anti-burglary system that prevents thieves from gaining access to the car. This device locks the doors, inside and out, when the driver activates the remote central locking system after leaving the vehicle.
If occupants are still inside, they cannot open the doors or even roll down the windows. The car can then become a real trap.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
