
Purpose: to modify and customize the Active Info Display / Virtual Cockpit. Depending on the setting, the display of the counter and/or vmax is different.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (To modify Vmax):
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17- Instruments”.
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu. In this drop-down menu, select the “Tube version” channel.
6 – In the “Value:” option, choose one of the 5 variants
Variant 0: Default

Variant 1: Normal (max 260km/h)

Variant 2: AllTrack (max 260km/h)

Variant 3: GTI (max 280km/h)

Variant 4: R (max 320km/h)

Line 2 (To change counter background) :
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17- Instruments”.
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu. In this drop-down menu, select the “Display” channel
6 – In the “Value:” option, choose one of the 5 versions:
