Purpose: to activate ambient lighting. (After wiring and lighting installation for retrofitting)
Procedure :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.

3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select the “0” module and click on “Long Coding Helper”:
Byte 20:
Bit 0: Check “Footwell Lights installed”.
Line 2 Ambient lighting setting :
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation 10”.
5 – Channel 27 “Footwell Lighting Dimming (with open Door)”.
Set a value between 0 and 200 (for 100% lighting, set 200).

4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select the “0” module and click on “Long Coding Helper”:

Bit 5: Check “Footwell Lights withbTerminal 58d active”.
Line 4 Ambient lighting control while driving :

4 – Click on“Adaptation 10”.
5 – Channel 35 “Footwell Lighting Dimming (with Terminal 58d)”.
Set a value between 0 and 200 (for 100% lighting, set 200).
