Purpose: Selects rear defrost duration.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select” then click on “09 – Cent. Elect.” .
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Select Channel 04 (“Rear Windshield Heating Activation Time” in the drop-down list)
Set a value between 1 and 254 (from 0.66 min to 173 min)
Default value is 29 (20 min)
254 allows defrost to run all the time
