Purpose: Selects the duration of mirror defrosting.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on ” 09 – Centrale Elec..
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Select Channel 03 (“Mirror Heating Activation Time” in the drop-down list)
Set a value between 1 and 254 (from 0.66 min to 173 min)
Default value (until April 2002) is 29 (20 min)
Default value (since April 2002) is 254 (allows defrost to run all the time)
