Purpose: Adjusts the sensitivity of the light sensor.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select the “2 EPIRBs” module from the drop-down list and click on “Long coding wizard”:
Byte 0:
Bit 3-4: Select from drop-down list
– 00 Light Activation Threshold normal
– 08 Light Activation Threshold earlier (+20%)
– 10 Light Activation Threshold earlier (+40%)
– 08 Light Activation Threshold earlier (+60%)
