Purpose : Allows mirrors to be folded down even after the ignition has been switched off and a door opened.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 :
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “42 – Driver’s door”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“04354”.
5 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
6 – Select Channel “System_Parameter_0” from the drop-down list.
Replace Value 90 (if several values, the 90 is in the middle, e.g.: xxxx90xxxx )
Set value according to mirror opening mode:
– 95 (mirrors will deploy when door is opened)
– 99 (mirrors will deploy when ignition is switched on)
If coding doesn’t work, can be activated with VCP
