Arteon (3H) – Air conditioning LED intensity adjustment

Purpose: to customize the illumination intensity of the air-conditioning indicators.


Warning! There are 3 lines of coding to do here.

Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.

2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.

Line 1:

3 – Click on“Select” then click on“08 – Auto HVAC”.

4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Dimming_characteristic_2-Y4”.

6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, choose a value expressed in“%
This is the intensity of all LED indicators (default value:“21%”).

Line 2:

3 – Click on“Select” then click on“08 – Auto HVAC”.

4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Dimming_characteristic_3-Y4”.

6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, choose a value expressed in“%
This is the intensity of all LED indicators (default value:“12%”).

Line 3:

3 – Click on“Select” then click on“08 – Auto HVAC”.

4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Dimming_characteristic_5-Y4”.

6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom

This is the intensity of all LED indicators (default value:“10%”).
