Purpose : to configure Coming-Home behavior.
Procedure :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 :
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select the “0” module and click on “Long Coding Helper”:
Coming-Home timer starts when door is opened
Byte 12 :
Bit 0 : Check “Coming-Home Timer (0 = Start with Term.15 OFF / 1 = Start with Door Opening)”.
The Coming-Home timer starts when the ignition is switched off.
Byte 12:
Bit 0: Uncheck “Coming-Home Timer (0 = Start with Term.15 OFF / 1 = Start with Door Opening)”.
Coming-Home is activated manually with a headlight flash
Byte 12:
Bit 2: Uncheck “Coming-Home Mode (0 = automatic / 1 = manual)” .
Coming-Home switches on automatically
Byte 12 :
Bit 2: Check “Coming-Home Mode (0 = automatic / 1 = manual)” .
