Purpose: to disable Start and Stop completely.
Watch out! Here, 1 line of coding is required, depending on the method selected.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostic socket or OBDeleven box.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program or the OBDeleven application.
Method 1 (Air-conditioning method, recommended):
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select” then click on “08 – Climatronic”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, select the“Deactivation of Start Stop Function” channel.
7 – On this same page, there’s a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this, choose“Active”, then confirm.
Information : Does not work on all models …
Method 2 (Gateway method):
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“19 – CAN Gateway”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Slave_component_list – Battery Monitoring Control Module”.
6 – On this same page, there’s a second drop-down menu, at the bottom
of the page.
On this, choose“no”, then confirm.
Information: Does not work on vehicles equipped with a 45V electrical system.
However, an error remains in the Gateway: “Subsystem_multiple_plug_identified” No error message appears on the Virtual Cockpit (AID) or the infotainment system (MIB3).
