Purpose: to increase the lighting duration of the Coming Home / Leaving Home function. The menu is factory-set for a duration of up to 30 seconds. This time can be increased to 90 seconds.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (Coming Home duration in the menu):
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination – Menueeinstellung Cominghome”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.
On this menu, adjust the value between“0” and“90” seconds, then confirm. (Default: 30 seconds)
Line 2 (Leaving Home duration in the menu):
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“31347”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Comfort illumination – Menueeinstellung Leaving-home Zeit per BAP”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.
On this menu, adjust the value between“0” and“90” seconds, then confirm. (Default: 30 seconds)
Information: If after coding the modification of the duration of coming home leaving home has not changed, on your screen MIB Menu -> Settings -> Factory settings -> Lighting (Your interior lighting configurations will also be reset)
