How it works : When you switch on the heated seat(s), as soon as you remove the key from the ignition the setting is immediately switched off. With this activation, when you switch the ignition back on, the seat will have returned to the level at which you left it.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select” then click on“08 – Climatronic”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose
“Retention of driver’s seat heater level” for Driver’s seat heater memory
and/or“Retention of passenger’s seat heater level” for Passenger seat heater memory
6 – On the same page, there’s a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
Select“active” and confirm.
