Purpose: to activate the heartbeat or lighting power of the Start Engine Stop button for the keyless start option.

Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (Lighting power):
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“B7 – Access authorization/startup”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“10587”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“DevCod_ Search lights – Suchbeleuchtung_ZAT_Beleuchtung_SES_Variante_aktiv”.
7 – On the same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
Select“Active” (LED = dim) or“not_activated” (LED = bright) and confirm.
Line 2 (Pulse):
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“B7 – Access authorization/startup”.

5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.

On this menu, choose“Active” (LED flashing) or“not_activated”. (LED = on) then confirm.
