Purpose: automatically retracts the electric driver’s seat when the ignition is switched off and the door is opened (access aid).
This option can only be activated with a VCDS with experimental coding for the lo coding wizard.ng! (MIB2 compatible)
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select” then click on “.36 – Seat Mem. Drvr“.
4 – Click on“Coding 07”.
5 – Select “Long coding wizard”:
Byte 3, Set bit 1 – “Easy_Entry_front,0=nict aktiv/1=aktiv
For passenger seat with electric option: Byte 6, Set bit 3
Then Byte 9 Set bit 6 – “automatic_func_key_memory_over_MMI, 0=nict aktiv/1=aktiv”.
Line 2:
3 – Click on“Select” then click on“5F – Electr. information”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20103”.
5 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 – driver_seat_0x10”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom
of the page.
On this menu, select“active” and confirm.
