TT (8J) Facelift – Corner lights activation

Purpose: When the cornering lights are activated, the fog lights come on on the side where the steering wheel is turned at speeds under 50 km/h. This function is also known as cornering. Once this function has been activated on your Audi TT, the fog lamp on the side of the bend you’re turning into will light up! Super handy for small roads and roundabouts.

Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.

2 – Switch on the ignition then run the VCDS program.

Line 1:

3 – Click on“Select” then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”. Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.

4 – Click on“Coding 07”.

5 – Select the “0” module and click on “Long Coding Helper”:

6 – In the window that appears, select

Byte 12 (optional)
Bit 4: Check “Cornering Light Activation Time limited”.

Byte 14 :
Bit 7: Check “Cornering Lights via Front Fog Lights active”.

7 – After this operation, click on the “Output” menu
Then validate “OK”.
