Purpose: to activate the windshield wipers once more after using the windshield washer, in order to remove any remaining water from the windshield.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “09 – Cent. Elect.” . Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program. 1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” and“x – 8K1 955 119 – WWS (in the drop-down list)” then “Long Coding Helper”.
5 – Select byte 1:
Bit 3, Check “Tear Wiping Active”.
