Purpose : to activate Audi Auto-Hold Assist (retrofit).
Keeps the vehicle stationary on slopes and downhill gradients for as long as required. If the vehicle remains stationary for a long time, the system automatically switches to electromechanical braking.
Part 8U0-927-225-E (former version 8U0-927-225-C) must be ordered and installed before coding.
Before activation with VCDS, stop the vehicle on level ground and disengage the electric handbrake
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select” then click on“53 – Parking Brake”.
4 – Click on“Codage- 07” then“Long Coding Helper”.
5 – Replace value: xxxxxx6 by xxxxxx7
