Purpose: to change the start-up logo displayed on the ODB (On-Board Computer).
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17 – Instruments” . 1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Select Byte 9:
Bit 0-7: Select value according to display
00 – Logo A6
01 – Logo A7
02 – Logo S6
03 – Logo S7
04 – Logo RS6
05 – Logo RS7
06 – Logo A6 allroad
07 – Logo A6 hybrid
