Purpose: to set the delay time before the headlamp washer emerges / the duration of the headlamp washer spray / the number of activations.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1 (Headlamp washer activation time) :
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20113”.
5 – Click on “Adaptation – 10” .
6 – Select Channel 25:
Set value to “8000” or value of your choice (default: 2000 ms)
Line 2 (Headlamp washer spray duration) :
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20113”.
5 – Click on “Adaptation – 10” .
6 – Select Channel 06:
adjust value accordingly (in ms)
Line 3 (Number of activations before headlamp washer) :
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“09 – Cent. Elect.”.
4 – Click on“Security Access – 16” then enter the code“20113”.
5 – Click on “Adaptation – 10” .
6 – Select Channel 26:
adjust the value for the number of times the headlamp washer must be switched on manually before activation.
