Purpose: to adjust the selectable modes of the air-conditioning system. Depending on the vehicle or model year, either the “ECO” or “MAX” air-conditioning mode is activated. You can activate the other mode.
Note: Unfortunately, both modes are not possible at the same time.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select” and then click on ” “.08 – Air conditioning“.
4 – Click on“Coding – 09”.
5 – Select byte 8
Enable (for AC Eco) or Disable (for AC Max) bit 1 “ACmax/ECO”.
