Purpose: Activates the navigation screen display, allowing you to switch to the map display and display the navigation destination defined in the FARB-FIS (control panel).
However, the MuFuPlus steering wheel must be installed for the view in the FIS to be changed to a map. In addition, Google Maps will no longer be displayed on the navigation system in the MMI.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “5F – Electronic Information”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”
5 – Select channels :
- Change channel setting “ENG122230-ENG127005-Dashboard_Display_Configuration-navigation_map_transmission_mode” to “MOST_streaming”.
- Change channel setting “ENG122230-ENG122338-Dashboard_Display_Configuration-navigation_map_compression_mode” to “H264”.
- Change setting channel “ENG122230-ENG122339-Dashboard_Display_Configuration-navigation_map_resolution” to “resolution_1”.
