Purpose: to change the startup logo displayed on the Virtual Cockpit.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17- Instruments”.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07”.
5 – Click on “Long Coding Helper” .
6 – Select Byte 9 and check the bits according to your preference:
A4 (1) -> Bit 5 and Bit 7
A4 (2) -> Bit 0, 5 and 7
A4 L -> Bit 1, 5 and 7
A4 quattro -> Bit 0, 1, 5 and 7
A4 g-tron -> Bit 2, 5 and 7
A4 L quattro -> Bit 0, 2, 5 and 7
A4 g-tron quattro -> bits 0, 1, 2, 5 and 7
