Purpose: to disconnect air-conditioning mode from DriveSelect. By default, the air-conditioning mode (ON/OFF/ECO) is coupled to DriveSelect. This means that the air-conditioning system is always activated as soon as you select a new vehicle mode in DriveSelect. You have the option of deleting this pairing, after which the air-conditioning mode always remains in the mode you have chosen.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“19 – Gateway”.
4 – Click on“Coding – 09”.
5 – Select byte 15 then disable bit 1 “CHA_Function_KL”.
