Purpose: Enables on-board computer information (range, average consumption, instantaneous consumption, etc.) to be added to vehicles not equipped with ODB, without the need to add a control knob.
Everything is controlled from Radio Symphonie/Concert.
Only one option can be activated at a time.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17 – Instruments” . 1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Select Byte 1:
Bit 2: Check “Driver Information System (DIS) active”.
Line 2:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “56 – Radio”.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07” then “Long Coding Helper”
5 – Choose Byte 9:
Bit 6: Check “Board Computer Settings active”.
